The Masamune is an American producer and DJ. He also goes by the stage name Chris Masamune. He has produced multi-genre electronic music including Drum and Bass, Hardcore, Crossbreed, Neurofunk, and Half-time productions. Beginning his music career in 2010 The Masamune released on many record labels all throughout the 2010s including Nekrolog1k, Triamer, Harder Louder, and Exode Records to name a few. In 2020, The Masamune signed with Ohm Resistance and released The Masamune EP in 2021. In October 2025, he released the Empire EP on Ohm Resistance.
