Jack Ü was an American EDM superduo and sideproject made up of the dubstep star Skrillex and the trap star Diplo. The two had often worked together before they became Jack Ü in 2013, and their first performance was at the Mad Decent Block Party on September 15 that year. On September 17, 2014, they released their debut single, "Take Ü There."

On New Year's Eve that same year, they played at Madison Square Garden. (This was livestreamed on Yahoo Live.) The first set was just Diplo, the second set was just Skrillex, and the third set, which started at Midnight EST, was both of them together.

On February 26, 2015, they began a set at 3 EST that was livestreamed on Twitch and supposed to last 24 hours. During this livestream, they released their debut album, Skrillex And Diplo present Jack Ü. Unfortunately, the police shut them down at the 18-hour mark. Even so, these two are legends.
