Hyper Potions is an EDM artist mainly run by Ian Tsuchiura. Hyper Potions released their first song, Anime Bae, in 2014 on Monstercat under the name Sushii Killer & Kevin Villecco. They switched to the name Hyper Potions and released their first song under that name, Porta Vista 6 months later and has been releasing fun and happy music ever since. In 2016, Hyper Potions worked with SEGA to release music for the game Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice and in 2017 for the game, Sonic Mania. They also produced the soundtrack for the game, Guano Gladiators (formerly S.O.Y.F.). Their song Friends was also featured in the 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Most recently, they worked with YouTuber Scott The Woz on his 200th episode and provided Borderline Forever, a remix of the outro song (originally Block Destruction or Breakout) used by Scott in his videos.
In 2022, they remastered a few of their songs and released them under the Collector's Box album, including a new version of Shooting Star.
